Early 2015 and loving it.

A month and a half and not a word has been written on the blog.  Lots of stuff going on...sailing, kayaking, biking, walking and fishing but....the pictures say it al!  A good time is being had by all.

Christmas dinner, 3 turkeys (one smoked) along with all the fixins'.  The only thing that could dampen our spirits during the festive season was the weather, a little wet with rain as we sat around the New Years Eve bonfire.

M5, the largest single mast sailboat in world moored in Escondito for the holidays, over 260 ft long with a mast of 315 ft.

Every full moon we celebrate with a weinie roast, a big fire and everyone on the beach.

A mexician hotdog...wrapped in a tortilla and toasted on the fire.

I have started paddling to Isla Danzante, and what a view I have on the hour paddle across!

Ken is still enjoying the fishing.  He is looking like a real Mexican with his sombrero.

Ken paddles the standup board and waves to friends Diane and Jay as they come back from a day fishing.

Carl, Charlie and Ken hit the end of the road at a washed out arroyo.  Many of the roads that Ken and I once rode on the dirtbikes are unpassable now after the hurricanes.

Our anchor site at Agua Verde.  Once again Carl took Ken and I sailing on his sailboat, this year Agua Verde turned into our only mooring site when strong winds and some mechanical problems on our fellow sailors boat kept us at bay for 5 days.  There are worse places to be stuck, luckily the little store in the village sold a few things including beer and the owners where actually talking about starting a happy hour  everyday a 4 pm while we where in port.

Ken rows Carl's tender, Sweet Pea (and me) to shore.  The sailboat, Blue, is comfortable but a daily walk is still welcome.
